Faulty Key

I had a faulty key code for windows 7 professional and it screwed up internet explorer. Now I cant do anything on my laptop with any program unless I am in safe mode. Does anyone have any suggestions or can I put my computer back to windows 7 starter. Thank You.:confused:

What brand and model computer do you have? Where did you acquire the Win 7 Professional program?

Windows 7 Starter comes standard on a lot of Netbooks. There was a Factory Recovery partition on the hard drive, but when you installed Win7 Pro you over wrote some required files to run the Factory Recovery using the normal method of a key ombination at start up probably. You could contact Toshiba to see if they have another method of performing a Factory Recovery.
