Favorite AV Tools?

    So whats everybody's favorite anti virus program(s)?

    I find Norton and McAfee are often more of a PITA than useful... Especially with having to buy the program again every year.

    AVG is good, I frequently find viri with it that norton/mcafee missed. And its free. OTOH, I haven't yet ran enough tests on what avg might miss.

    Stinger is pretty good for ripping viri off a machine, but if it removes infected system files, it can be a pain to restore them.

    any thoughts on Panda AV? i tried it didnt care for it now back with norton although i had never heard of AVG hmm have to check that out!

    Norton was the first I used........but was very disappointed.......wouldn't go back..........
