    Hi:
I know how to fax a photo copy but I want to send a photo.jpg to a fax number location. Is this possible having only a jpg copy of the photo ??
I'm using a HP program that came with my hp3970 scanner

Do you have a builtin modem? Usual way is to imbed the picture in Word and use Word's print function to print to the modem via the fax driver.

Hope you understand that it comes out black and while and a reduced image [depending on fax driver resolution] at the other end in normal faxing.

Thanks for the 2 replies but I think I can see it's not possible what I want to do. I could just print the Photo.jpg on my printer and then fax the print but I didn't think the resolution would be good enough.
I since found out the company that wants the photo also has a separate e-mail address where I can send an attachment. Thanks again for your replies.
