I have been installing Fedora Core on a separate hard drive (primary slave) to my Windows hard drive (primary master). I am finding it that, after installing the Fedora Core 4 Distribution (placing the GRUB loader on the Master Boot Drive), even when it reboots, I am not getting the GRUB loader, but rather booting straight into Windows.

Has anybody experienced anything like this?

Grub was not installed in the MBR of your 1st bootable drive if the PC boots without it.

Did you alter the booting sequence or disk order before or after the installlation.

Section A of the thread shows how to dual boot while keeping Windows untouched.

To overwrite Windoze MBR would be even simpler but you should not tamper with the booting sequence or disk order.
