Trying to run program: Free MP4 to VOB converter
Got the following error: ffmpeg.exe application error - The instruction at "0x00951eda" referenced memory at "0x00000300". The memory could not be "written".

I have successfully converted MP4's to VOB before without a problem ... error just started yesterday.

Anyone have any ideas? Would be most grateful. Thanks.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program?

I did an uninstall/reinstall and the file conversion went to 84% before the application error happened again. Same error message as mentioned previously.

Should I try doing a System Restore? Or do you have any other suggestions?

    Thanks for your assistance.

I attempted a System Restore (to an earlier date 3/2/15) which caused a problem with another program so I undid the Restore. I then decided to try converting the MP4 to VOB using another program (Aiseesoft Total Video Converter). I successfully converted the first video file but when I attempted a 2nd one received the following error:

Aiseesoft Total Video Converter.exe - Application Error

The instruction at "0x6af2f086" referenced memory at "0x841dfecc". The memory could not be "read".

So does anyone have any suggestions about how I should fix this error? My only other idea was to do a complete system restore which is pretty drastic and time consuming so if anyone has any other better ideas would appreciate hearing them. Thanks...
