Hm, this just started happening in the past two days. Actually at a bout mid day yesterday.

When I try to choose either a destination to save a file as or some where to upload a file from the window immediately closes or sometimes I'll get an error that says, "Internet explorer experienced an error" or "btdownloadgui.exe experienced an error". I don't understand. This also only happens in Internet Explorer, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: Okay, I think I found the particular folder I experience the error at now. Everytime I open My Videos, it exits. Even when I am looking at the folder by itself. So I'm assuming maybe a file in there is causing the error?

Do you ,under "View" have the folder view set to "Filmstrip"?If so try changing the View to something else.
On "Filmstrip" view xp tries to give you a preview of the file and if there is information missing or the file is corrupt you will keep getting that error message.
Try to locate the offending file and check it's properties, could be that the codec needed to play it is corrupt or missing.
