I HAVE AN OLD RECIPE PROGRAM CALLED "COOK 3.0" THE COMPANY IS NO LONGER IN OPERATION. IT IS AN OLD DOS BASED PROGRAM. I AM TRYING TO CONVERT THE DATA INTO SOME KIND OF WINDOWS FORMAT (WORD, ETC) THE FILES ARE "*.DT3" FILES. ANY CONVERSION IDEAS.

It may not be pretty, but you could try opening these files in Notepad. If the data is readable, you can copy and paste it to any word application you have and then edit it to look decent.

If what you see by opening these in Notepad is acceptable the way it is formatted, then just change all the dt3 file endings to txt.
