file converters, ie JPEG to BMP

    hi people, does anyone have any suggestions as to a good freeware file converter, trialing ReaConverter pro at the moment but use it so little don't wanna pay, me stingy lol

    Neo4u - could you, perhaps, provide links when suggesting something? saves everyone else the hassle of trying to search for something;):D

    The only ThumbsPlus image viewer I could find was shareware, so could you let us know where you found the freeware one at?

    If you go to www.download.com they have hundreds of applications such as the one you want, some free, some you have to pay for, all rated by users.

    I've used this one for quite some time, it will let you resize pictures and convert image formats. Very simply to use, not a lot of bells and whistles, but I find it much quicker to use when I simply want to resize a pic or change it's format. It's free.
