I am trying to import WAV audio files from file explorer to a unit that is connected to computer by USB cable. My computer says the files are in WAV folder of unit, but when I disconnect from computer, the file does not show up on the unit. Couple days ago I went into property settings and changed some things but I don't know what I did . Also , when I try to disconnect the unit from the computer, a message comes up and says that it is not safe to disconnect because unit is still in use, so I just pull the USB cable anyway. Ican't figure out how to get it disconnected safetly without losing data. Operating system:Windows 10

To deal with the last question first the safely remove hardware on windows 10 is - as here
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/4051300/windows-10-safely-remove-hardware
bottom right of taskbar - notifications area

To address the main question this sort of thing always makes helping more difficult
Try in explorer right click the WAV file, click copy
On the unit right click and click paste
