File extraction wizard is asking for a password to extract MP3 files that are within 1 folder. Each file in the folder can be opened individually and played in WMP, but they can't be extracted:confused:

    Got clue?

    Thanks...

    Hiya

I've moved this to Multimedia for more response :)

Were the mp3's originally from a CD or downloaded from Itunes? Which version of Media Player are you using, and the version of Windows?

    Regards

    Thanks!

MP3's were downloaded from thruthebible.org. Free download; never before had the problem.

WMP version 8.00.00.4487 (?), for XP.

If these are free downloads, I'm somewhat at a loss. I don't know why you'd see password prompts. How are you trying to "extract" them? That does the properties of an individual file say?

I've extracted by right-click, extract all, extraction wizard.

I did another d'load afterward, of another book, and extracted successfully.

Attached is one zipped file 'properties'. I see no clue here...
