I recently had to have my Win2K maching HDD replaced. After reinstalling Win2k, I have however noticed that all of file listings (My Documents, Contacts and everything else) is listed in alphabetical DESCENDING order (Z-A), instead of ascending. Even applications that have db's that I pull out of MyDocs folder is listing in this "reverse" order.

Anyone know how to make this change so that it takes effect through out the OS?

    TIA

Click on Name in Windows Explorer. It will toggle everything back and forth from ascending to descending.

Then go to Tools > Folder Options > View > And Click apply to all Folders.
