file save to temporary folder

    i am using windows xp pro . however when i click on a file to download , it was save to temporary folder. i can't seems to save target to my destination folder.moreover i cannot locate temporary folder. Is temporary folder equals to temporary internet files???????

    I think wat you are saying is that when you click to download something you cant choose if you want to save it or if you want to just open it. If this is so, follow these steps.
    1. Open My computer
    2. Control Panel
    3. Folder Options
    4. Click File Types tab
    5. Select the file extension you wish to be able to safe (Example: .zip, .exe, .rar, etc)
    6. Click advanced button
    7. Check "Confirm open after download

    You will have to do this for every file extension that you need it to be done for, but only once. I hope this helps :)
