I have Windows Vista, and when I go into Desktop->Username-> I have all the usual Documents, Pictures, etc., but I also have two empty folders labeled with random letters and numbers. (for example, one of the names is "{0d110244-fb34-43f1-b299-25693afc741f}"). I have no option to delete them. Could they be viruses?

When I click on them, it says I don't have permission to access them.

Hiya and welcome to Tech Support Guy :)

Are you still having this problem? If so, can you do the following:

    Download OTL to your Desktop
    • Double click on the icon to run it. Make sure all other windows are closed and to let it run uninterrupted.
    • Click the Quick Scan button. Do not change any settings unless otherwise told to do so. The scan wont take long.
      • When the scan completes, it will open two notepad windows. OTL.Txt and Extras.Txt. These are saved in the same location as OTL.
      • Please copy (Edit->Select All, Edit->Copy) the contents of these files, one at a time and post them in your topic
