Files & Folders!

    How do I do a proper search of files & folders in Vista?Lets say I wanted to find c:docs and settings to have a look!I haven't done this yet and i'm not right certain how to do it.As you can tell I haven't been using Vista very long.Thanks for any guidance on this:)

    To start with, you need to buy a GOOD book on Vista. There are several, but I like Plain & simple Windows Vista from MS Press.

    The on line Help and Support is very good in Vista.

    Just type in what you did in XP and things should work. But, there is one trick, use the "Advanced Search" and add the check mark in "include non-indexed, hidden and system files (might be slow).
