Hi! Hope someone can help me with this?

I had an old DOS program called POET (from 8-9yrs ago) which generated random poetry based on adjectives you described. Now this program also had a file called COLOR.COM whose file name, etc appeared in Blue, even in windows.

The trouble is that most of my files are turning blue now! I am using windows xp. Is this just a memory resident color changing thing or is it more like an infection? And how can I get rid of this? No viruses have been detected on the system with Norton 2003.

A wierd problem but hopefully someone has a clue about whats really happening? Appreciate your time...thanks!

My understanding is that compressed files are blue. You probably have a folder setting telling it to compress those files in that directory.
