Hey guys, I have been trying to extract a 3.5gb file directly to D: because of low space in C: but every time I click on "extract to" the window goes hazy and after 5 minutes (give or take) a message appears saying "program stopped working". Cant find a solution anywhere. What should I do?
I an using a 32 bit windows 7 system and WinRAR for extraction.

Did you get the file off bittorrent? You could have gotten a piece of malware. Do a Windows Defender full scan.

Do I have to upgrade my system? Isn't there any another way?

Even if you are tying to extract to a different drive, this 3.5gb file must be loaded in to memory and/or the cash, and there is NOT enough space on the system drive.
So I would try and clean up the System Drive and make room.
