I've ran the settings config for this game, and it says the 8-bit palette texturing test fails. I've updated this game, gotten the latest drivers for my Nvidia card, and am also running it in compatability mode for Windows 98/ME, using 256 colors and 640 X 480 resolution. Yet still to no avail. There are black polygons surrounded objects in the game, making the graphics look a little choppy.

    Please... help :(

Does the game support the newest drivers?

(Yes, I've seen this cause a problem before.)

You might try a rollback to a driver set released around the time the game was.

Good idea. I'll try that right now and post what happens.

I couldn't install it. PC crashed.

Any ideas on how to get the 8-bit texturing to work? :(

You couldn't rollback the driver? Strange.

Is there a manual configuration for the graphics in the game?

What other options for Display and renderer?

And if you want to try older drivers try "omega" drvers. http://www.omegadrivers.net/
Last I checked they were based off nVidia 66.xx
I've since switched to an ATI card so I haven't looked in a while.

No other option for Display, and the other option for the renderer is Software Renderer. With this latter option selected, the graphics work but they are horrible :(

Well, the game's graphics weren't that fantastic to begin with - there might be compatibility issues with your Dual-Core 64-bit processor.

hmm, well you could still try older display drivers... If that's not it then I guess it's just too old for new hardware..

I would give the Omega drivers a try - I have their ATI driver on my main PC, and they work like a charm, and they let me do a lot more with my hardware.
