I just upgraded to Firefox 1.0 PR a few days ago. When I type a URL into the location bar, some of these URLs will delete on their own after a couple of days. I also experienced this problem when I used Firebird 0.7. I never used 0.8 or 0.9 so I don't know if this occurs with those releases.

Has anyone else noticed this problem? Is there a tweak or fix for this issue?

    Thanks

Click on "Tools" then choose "options." In that menu, choose "History." There you will see an option for how long Firefox will "remember" your URL history for you. You can change that to however long you want.

Thanks for replying. Isn't that history option just for web pages visited and not for typed URLs? I know if you go to Tools > Options and select Clear History it will delete typed URLs in you location bar and also webpage visited. But when you select Remember pages visited for the last xx days it will just delete web pages visited and not delete typed URLs in your location bar.
