Firefox - Inspect Element Q

    It could be a setting in the BIOS or simply a loose connector. Simple test for a connector would be if you have a USB keyboard you could plug in to try.
    I just don't know enough about laptop keyboards to advise you.
    Could you post the make and model number of the laptop so it will be available to someone from Hardware.

    on your laptop, you have to also press & hold the FN key to get function keys to work

    The keys on a laptop have dual uses & without holding down FN at the same time as the function key, the other use will happen ( function keys are always a secondary use on a laptop as not used as often)

    sometimes on a laptop the FN key works like a toggle & can be switched on( enabled) with first press & of with second press, but on my Asus laptop, it has to be held down to use the function keys

    Thank you! That did the trick!

    Have to hold FN and then push Shift+F10+Q

    Not the quickest or most comfortable of keyboard shortcuts I might add! lol
