Firefox Unable To Open Certain Websites

    hello , im having problem with opening some websites such as download.microsoft.com , topshare.com , 1001download.com .
    everytime i enter that address , there's a message coming out :
    "firefox cant find the server at download.microsoft.com" , on the same time the website works for my friend's computer.

    i have delete all of my temp files , cookies and stuff.
    i have also turn off my firewall, but it is still not working T.T

    Go to firefox, tools, options and the content tab.
    There your see the Enable Java and Enable JavaScript.
    Put a check mark by each and click OK.

    Then if you got NoScript you have to give those sites rights so it can use the JavaScript.

    my java and java script is already turn on since before and the problem is still occuring.
    what should i do ?

    the problem is not occuring just for firefox , those website also cant be open by IE.
    right now my firefox also cant open facebook T_T
