Hey guys, I recently just added the new ZoneAlarm firewall to my computer and apparently its denied anyone in our house access to my part of the network (we use linksys wireless). I've tried to mess with certain options on the firewall but i really have no clue what im doing. I just wanted to know if anyone had any ideas or experience in dealing with firewalls and networks and possibly this problem. Thanks for your time.

Yes, your firewall is very likely stopping your machine from sharing.

Usually when you first install zonealarm, it will start telling you what is trying to get through and whether you want to block it or accept it.

    Either,
Reset the firewall, and accept it when your other PCs are trying to access.

    or

Find out the IP addresss of the PCs you want to give access to, and grant them access by adding them into your zonealarm configuration.

    ..

Someone with more zone-alarm experience should be able to tell you the actual clicks to do this.

You need to add your local network address range to the trusted zone in Zone Alarm, that should solve the problem. I don't remember the exact sequence, but if you look in the configuration, it should be pretty easy to spot.
