Have just purchased a new SanDisk card reader to use with the cards from my digitial camera.

When plugged in to the firewire port, there is no response from the PC, and no light on the reader to show that there is a connection.

And yet the reader works OK on a Mac, and the PC's firewire port recognises my video camera OK.

    I am running XP.
    Any help appreciated.

The SanDisk reader I just bought is USB2 and it requires drivers to be installed.
