Hello folks! I decided to get a gaming pc but have never had any experience with gaming pcs what so ever. Why I am here is because I narrowed it down to a CUK Stratos Micro Intel Gaming Desktop, a logictec G 502 hero gaming mouse, and a Viotek GN34C 34-Inch Ultrawide QHD (3440x1400p) Curved Professional Monitor. I would like to know if they are compatible. I don't want to have to spend all of this money and nothing is compatible. I appreciate any help whatsoever. Thanks So Much.
Can you provide the hardware specs or a web page link to the specific one you're purchasing?
Depending on which hardware specs it comes with, the gaming experts here may want to give you some advice or recommendations.
Power Supply: 700W Gold Power Supply | Operating System: Windows 10 Home x64
Accessories: 802.11 AC Wireless + Wired LED Backlit USB Gaming Keyboard and mouse.
The monitor is again from amazon and the monitor is a Viotek GN34CW 34 inch 21:9. the specs are
Dual-Purpose Business Monitor - The GN34CW is an office-ready ultrawide 34-inch monitor, curved gently with a 21:9 near-cinema aspect ratio. Offering ~2.5 times the resolution of a 16:9 full HD display, the 100Hz monitor excels equally as a gaming display and home office monitor.
Dynamic Color Reproduction - The thin-bezel 1440p monitor VA panel delivers a wide color gamut, displaying 115% of the sRGB color spectrum. The LED monitor's anti-glare screen can push 16.7M colors with a 1M:1 dynamic contrast ratio (3000:1 contrast ratio).
Two Devices, One Screen - Multitask like a pro. Stay focused on multiple projects. Maximize screen real estate. With dual-input PIP/PBP functions, two sources can be displayed on a single screen. Any device with HDMI, DP or DVI ports can be connected to the GN34CW for split-screen viewing.
That is straight from Amazon. These specs are new to me so I don't want to make a mistake in buying a computer. Thanks for your help Sir.

I would have a few questions on this personally, especially as it looks like you are intending to invest a good amount of money in this system. In general those are pretty decent specs but it is missing some detail in my opinion, can you link the exact Amazon item?
- What is the exact make and model of the Power Supply? This is probably the single most overlooked component in a gaming PC but it is a vital piece to buy quality.
- What is the exact motherboard? Z90M is a motherboard chipset type rather than a specific make and model of motherboard. There can be quite wide ranging capabilities and quality which can impact overall performance.
These are the very impressive performance ratings and the power usages for the processor(CPU) and graphics card(GPU):
Do you have the option of replacing the 2 TB hard disk drive(HDD) with a solid state drive(SSD)?
A SSD will be faster and snappier than a HDD when it's in use.
I would definately want to know exactly what make and model of Motherboard and PSU are in it. The fact they dont specify when they have provided so much detail on other elements concerns me.

Sorry it took a while to respond....Thank you so much for replying. The issue I would face is the fact that I am purchasing a prebuilt PC gaming tower and I"m not at all a tech person so I would have to buy a seperate solid state drive and replace the existing one. That is the problem I face because I am buying it off of Amazon..would it be theoretically fesable for someone like me to replace the HDD with a SSD? Sorry again for taking so long..

Absolutely....that is exactly the one I want...This is my first gaming pc and just want to plug it in and start playing...I don't want any problems due to the fact that I'm not tech savvy.
Thanks!

Thank you so much for the response as I do appreciate very much appreciate it! https://forums.techguy.org/threads/first-time-buying-a-gaming-pc.1260821/
This is all can get from Amazon. I am not tech literate so linking to Amazon is like rocket science to me. Thank you very much for your awesome advice. I've thought I've looked everywhere but you made me realize that I didn't and I thank you for that. I guess I'm going to have to bite the bullet and get one of those gaming pc manufacturerer websites and custom build my own according to my own specs...

There are a lot of options out there, personally I don't think Amazon is the best place to buy a gaming PC. Have a look at the below for some other options.
Depending on what you want they can be more or less expensive than the Amazon option, but the big thing for me is knowing exactly what you are getting for every component. The PSU is one of the single biggest problems people have when buying a gaming PC, it is a VERY important component but is often overlooked as the benefits of buying quality are rarely advertised. There is a lot more to a PSU than just the advertised wattage
If you look at those sites and compare the spec of the item listed on Amazon you will probably find significant price differences between the dedicated PC builders and Amazon, the question to ask then is "why is Amazon so much cheaper than a specialist company?"
Something to consider:
- Intel v Ryzen CPU. Nothing wrong with the Ryzen processors and could save you a bit of money.
- Do you really need the top spec i9 CPU? If money is not an object then absolutely go for the best you can, but from a budgeting perspective an i7 or similar will be more than adequate.
- Liquid cooling is nice to have but not essential. Air cooling is perfectly fine for the majority of users if you are not overclocking.
- PC Part prices are particularly high at the moment so you will be paying more.
Thank You very much for your in depth response. It is very informative and something that I am going to pay careful attention and refer to when I'm in the process of building my own pc. If worst comes to worst however, I'm going to refer the the link you have given me.
Thank You so much.
Thanks.. I just want everything to be compatible when I put everything together. I've never been a rocket scientist and as for me, it's like building a modern rocket without any knowledge or experience whatsoever. In with regards to building my own gaming PC, it seems that everyone who is "tech" literate, seems to at least to some extent, have some sort of background in tech one way or the other. Also, notwithstanding the fact that the nomenclature of the viscseral components of a gaming PC are quite literally incomprehensible to me. Talk about being wet behind the ears!
Another thing! I now am going to buy a gaming PC regardless!
So this is what's going to happen...I have 3800 Dollars to spend on my first gaming PC and I'm going to do it right now. Thus, I'm going to bite the bullet and buy a dedicated Gaming prebuilt PC from a professional manufacturer and have it built according to your specs! Now, I know that I am not a tech guy, but I am going to bite the bullet and buy a Gaming PC from professionals who know what their doing and know how to build one instead of building one for myself....I appreciate any input....
