I've been having a problem with my computer as of late.

I'm running Windows XP Pro, now Service Pack 3.

See, the thing is that I had troubles before concerning a sudden problem.

My taskbar suddenly disappeared one day, and among that, my sound seems to be disabled, my user accounts window is blank, and I can's use System Restore either.

I found the solution here on these forums, and I downloaded a file whose name I can't recall. I think it included the word "user account fix" in the file. Anyway, it fixed my problem.

At least until I decided to install Service Pack 3. After it finally installed(before, I kept getting the "access is denied" message, and downloading that file fixed that problem), it prompted a restart.

After rebooting, I encountered the same exact problem again. No taskbar, no sound, no user accounts, no system restore.

I know for a fact that that file I downloaded around here fixed my problem, and if I could find it, it would solve it again.

I had to go to a friend's computer to type this, since my computer doesn't have Internet access anymore. However, I do have a USB drive ready in case.

Any assistance would be appreciated, thanks.
