    Hey Guys,

I have a Flash file that a friend sent me (.EXE) which open up in Flash player. The file icon has the same grayish logo as a .SWF and I think it's called a Flash Projector file. Anyway, I am looking for a way of inserting that file into Powerpoint. I've seen instructions online on inserting a regular flash file but I'm a little lost since it's a .EXE. Basically I'd like to open up the slide then once it gets to a particular slide, I would be able to play the movie. Any ideas or suggestions are highly appreciated.

Do you have Flash MX professional on your computer? Not just player. If you want to edit a Flash file you need to have the full version to edit it. Then you would have to save or export that and then import that into your presentation. The exe means the flash file is enclosed in a script that tells windows to play it automatically. exe is a self extracting auto run script.

[email protected], thank you for the help. That makes perfect sense. I do have the full version at home and will try it out this weekend. Thanks again and have a good weekend!
