Flash9c.ocx

    I have uninstalled and reinstalled flashedplayer9 but still have problem when viewing videos on the internet, Internet Explorer shuts down and give us an error message for Flash9c.ocx.

    running Internet Explorer version 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.070227-2254

    Have Norton virus protection using a hp pavilion a384x 2.08
    nvidia GeForce 4MX-graphic with 64MB DDR SDRAM

    Can another active X be use to view vidios? or what is a sure fix have
    google problem and can not come up with a fix to this problem.

    I did exactly what you said to do, reboot and all and now its worse than it was before.
    Do you have more things for me to do and try?

    This seems to be a common problem for some. Other than the reinstall, I don't know of any other fix. One thing you can check.
    C:\Windows\System32\MACROMED\Flash
    do you have the file: Flash.ocx
    If you have Flash9.ocx instead, copy it and paste it in the same folder, but rename it Flash.ocx so you have both in the Flash folder.
    If this isn't the case, I am out of ideas.
