I'm using windows xp. Trying to install latest version of adobe flashplayer. Halfway through,
the installation process stops, says error, failed to register.
Can anyone help me with this problem?

I've never heard of that particular error before so I don't have a definite answer to your problem. However, if you haven't already done so, you might find something helpful if you read through the advice in the Adobe Troubleshooter: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/191/tn_19166.html

There was a fix to download for that particular issue but it was for Flash Player 10 and older. Haven't found one for version 11.
