My computer teacher today was talking infront of the class about whatever and then over on his desk his laptop made a weird sound like it was reading or trying to read the A drive (floppy drive). Everyone looked over at his PC and he said it started doing that a few days ago. He said his computer looks for a floppy drive at random times even if there is no floppy in the drive.

Well, how can I fix this problem for him? Is this a common problem with Win 2000? Thanks! :D
