Floppy issues

    When i turn on the computer it says invalid sysytem disk. I don't have a disk in the drive. I hit space and it show up again.

    HElP

    well from experience it could be
    1. you ran a virus/trojan that erased your hd
    2. your floppy cable was put on backwards
    it could be some other stuff including a broken floppy drive
    It all really depends on what you did last before this problem occured (always a good thing to add in your posts)

    Possible but i got all the parts separtly and put them togther.
    I switched the cable around and it said Disk I/0. and something else. The computer is a pentium 75. 5socket.

    Is this a new hard drive? If so, you have to install an operating system on it before you can boot from it.
