Dear Sir,
We all know that we can format a floppy.But I want to know
why we can not partition a floppy?

I doubt that a floppy's file system would support it. For instance, I know you cannot encrypt or compress files on a floppy. Other file systems like NTFS and FAT support these features. Floppy's do not use FAT or NTFS.

In addition to Go2doug reply,
It is not practical to partition a SMALL CAPACITY storage device.
But you can make folders within floppy, which serves the same purpose. (although folders shares the whole same space).
