So I finally got around to upgrading fluxbox to 0.9.10-r2. And I have two pet peeves. First, I had cool bitmapped fonts before. Now (while I like the new ones) it seems to be impossible to get the old ones.

Take a look at the tile bars. Anyone have any ideas? (I do like the AA text in my menu though. So much easier to read.

aterm*font (that should get you your font if you know the name of the old one... in your .Xdefaults)
    aterm*boldFont:

I hope this is what you are going after if not...I'm not sure what really is the difference minus the old is black and the new is greyish.

if you grab it from the flux menu you can edit the menu command so you set the font in it...in which its a aterm --font i believe). Either way should work.

aterm*font:*-*-fixed-medium-r-normal--*-140-*-*-iso8859-1 (is the format used in .Xdefaults

Actually it's the fluxbox font. (it's really a terrible shot, however it's all I have) (The title bar font) The style, unless I'm mistaken still points to glisp, but it's using an AAed Ariel.
