I wasn't sure if this was the right forum, but I have Vista.

Yesterday, I noticed as I went into my folders that my "VIDEOS" folder was no longer showing up. If I do a search for a particular video, I can get to it that way, but the actual folder no longer appears along side the others. I can also get to it if I use the menu/tab at the top and click on like rebecca/videos/ and then the "Videos" folder suddenly appears in the links menu to the left but it's still not showing up on my desktop. Why did it disappear and how can I get to show up again?

Thanks :)

Where does your search result show that files are at?

It says they are in the Videos folder.

I can open up my personal folder and all the folders appear except that one. Is there something I could have done to make a folder suddenly hide? Is that possible? lol

Are you sure that you are NOT finding them in the "Sample" folder which is under the "Public" folder?

I'm sure, just checked again. It's showing the path of a video coming from my D. Drive in the Videos folder. There are no videos in the public folder.

Since this was a total mystery and I don't think anyone understood what was going on, I just went ahead and made a new folder and moved all my video files from the "invisible" folder to a new one and now all is well. I just wish I knew what the heck I did to make it hide so I won't do it again lol

Thanks :)
