How do you prevent the icons in folders, Folder View, from changing?

I like medium icons in some of my folders and often they will change to large icons or list or detail view without my help.

Does anyone else have this happen in your folders?

Did you try saving these setting to apply to all folders?

This can be found under Organize, Folder and Search Options, and then the View tab.

Under tools-Folder Options-View, I have "remember each folder's view settings" checked.

I thought that should keep the view from changing.
