Folders

    Is a folder unlimited in it's size ,in other words, how much can 1 folder hold ( ie: digital pictures) ?

    One time I put a whole movie in one folder, so I believe that folders can hold as much as you want or as much as your hard disk can hold.

    There is no limit to folder size (except as dictated by available space). For instance, I have one folder that is now at 26 GB, with nearly a million images...

    There are however limits to individual file size. 4gb in a fat32 system for instance. But not folders. You can fill it till it bulges.

    One caveat...
    The root directory of any drive can contain no more than 512 files.
