Hello, Can anyone please tell me how to correct a font problem? Whenever we use a capital "W" in WinME the corner of it is broken off like this:

At first it didn't bother us that much, but now it's like a thorn in our side. We don't know which font type it is, but we do know it's a standard Windows font. Is there a place where we can re-download all of them, and overwrite the ones on the harddrive?

Thanks.

We tried using the tweak UI several times yesterday, but it did NOT repair this problem.

Is there a way to download/overwrite the original fonts? We looked around at Microsoft but didn't find anything.

Any ideas?

Hi Wet Chicken

If you find out which font it is you may be able to d'load it from the web - go to your fonts folder delete the font - then drag and drop the good one in

What program does it show as broken in ?

Oddly enough it seems to be splash screens and some things viewed from the net that give it this effect. When I type something in word the problem is not there.

Hi Wet Chicken

Go to

Tools
internet options
click the fonts button (near the bottom)
see which fonts you have set to view web pages - then try that font in word

let us know
