Fonts turned italic

All of a sudden my fonts have started appearing in italics in Firefox and Internet explorer... I can't think what's caused it to change, and I've got no idea how to put it back.

I've got things like google search results coming back weird, so it can't just be the websites that are the problem

See if it's a browser issue first....

Open IE, go to View > Encoding > Auto Select (clear cache and open up IE again)
