Is there any way to recover my jump drive if I have forgotten my password?

    Thanks

If it's Lexar JumpDrive, the password protection also encrypts the data.

    So the answer is no.

Can the password be overridden and deleted. The jump drive does not have any information on it, so I am not worried about losing anything.

You may have to ask the maker.

It would "worry" me if it could be overidden, as that would defeat the purpose of having a device advertised as "secure".

Having data on ot or not would be immaterial, as if overiding also deleted the data, then there are application that could be used to recover the data, once the password was bypassed. The password also should prevent any use to ensure that the drive is of no use to anyone if stolen, data or not being on it.

So if it can be bypassed or overridden, its certainly not the "feature" that they advertise.

But it raises the question of how you could put a password on it then "forget" the password?
