    I meant How to restore the dell inspiron 1150 to factory settings ?

    i lost the restore cd's but I am sure that there is a way to restore my laptop back to normal.

    If you want to restore your system to the way it was when you first got it, meaning anything you added will be removed try the following. Turn on the laptop. As soon as you see www.dell.com at the top of the screen (I don't think it's there very long) press <Ctrl> and <F11>. You should get a restore screen. Not all laptops shipped with this option. Some had the restore CD instead. So if this doesn't work contact Dell about getting a CD.
