I realize that formatting my hard drive, will lose everything on my C: drive. That's not importation. However I would like to start from stratch and format, my hard drive. I'm not working from my lap top and my desktop is completely down. I will like to re install windows 98. I have everything needed to do so, just don't know how.
When I went to C: from my computer and right clicked on my computer, I could not format. What what else can I do?
    Please help me. THanks

 Hello Ro, Wewlcome to TSG!

First lets make sure we're on the same page. If I understand your post correctly, you have one hard drive which is your C: drive, with windows98 as the operating system, that you want to re-format and re-install. Is that correct?
