Have you looked at any of the file recovery links at the top of this page?

I trust that you didn't do any more to the disk after formatting it, and are prepared to install it in another computer or an external USB enclosure.

If you formatted the drive I'm afraid you lost it. If you didn't actually format I have a program called eData Unerase that will help recover "deleted" files but it sure won't recover files from a formatted harddrive, as there is nothing there to recover!
    Sorry!

Can you explain exactly what you did in order to "accidentally" format your drive?

Here is a page that will help youy get the files back if they can be gotten. I would suggest reading it first and also take note about a suggestion that was given earlier about pounting the hard drive in another computer as a slave drive and installing this program on the drive C: on that computer and running from there.

as long as you didn't restore or install an operating system, the files are probably retrievable with some of the suggestions offered.

FOR THE 2ND TIME, "HOW'D YOU ACCIDENTALLY FORMAT"?
