    Hi,

I installed Linux 9.0 (redhat) on a pentium II machine but it is running very slowly. I want to get rid of linux from this machine and want to install windows 98. I tried to format the hard drive but it didn/t work. I appreciate your help on how to proceed.

    Thnks

You don't have to format the drive, just use "fdisk /mbr" if you used lilo or grub, then fdisk and remove the non-dos partitions.
