I wanted to ask a question about formatting. I have a hard drive that is partioned into 2 drives, C and D. I have reformatted my C drive(the one with windows on it) on a suggestion that things run smoother. The operation was successful. My question is if i wanted to format the D drive i wont lose anything on my C drive, meaning I can boot up normally and just have an empty D drive. I want to be sure before I do this, I am still a newbie. Any help would be appreciated. :)

The partitions are seperate. If you format one, the other won't be touched.
