Formatting

    hi, i'd like to format my machine (running xp pro) and do a fresh install (do clear all the clutter)

    can you tell me how to go about this and of anything i need to look out for??

    One way is to boot with your XP CD. Early on during the install process you will be prompted to format the drive.

    cool, thanks, so i just put in the CD and reboot?

    As long as your computer is configured to boot from the CD that should work fine.
