Forum email addresses are being hacked!

    I just received this email from the forum. :mad: I've just disabled my email contact option.

    I don't know what can be done about it, but I thought the administrators should be aware of it....

    ishallam is a new member that has one post and signed up yesterday.

    Posted here http://forums.techguy.org/showthread.php?p=1939429#post1939429 and it has notheing to do about the thread either.

    Don't email them back because they will not know your email address till you reply back.

    I report this to the mods.

    That's the strangest post I've seen. Not the thread starters post (that's an old scam) but the link you offered Hewee.

    Thanks for the quick action, Candy.

    After I posted the warning above I did a search and found the post by ishallam. What really amazes me is that some people actually respond to a spam email like that one. Too bad someone couldn't send them an email back with a virus of some sort that would fry their PC.
