    Found Adware.RogueSuspect
I purchased a Gateway Laptop almost a year ago with Windows Vista on it and I have had numerous trouble with this machine. I was finally able to get the FREE AVG on this laptop wks ago. Anyway, for the past several days, I keep getting this detection over and over agan, and I am not sure if I am doing something wrong or what. I want to give you the area it says it's in and I am just going to put down what it says exactly, that way maybe someone can tell me what it is, and what I can do.

Ok after it scans under the warnings tab it says under File:
    HKU\S-1-5-21-774755651-2972447345-185144216-1000\Software\Ascentive

    Under Infection it says:
    Found Adware.RogueSuspect

    Under Result it says:
    Potentially dangerous object

Ok now...when I click details to see what it says it says:
    Object name:
    HKU\S-1-5-21-774755651-2972447345-185144216-1000\Software\Ascentive

    Detection name:
    Found Adware.RogueSuspect

    Object type:
    registry key

    SKD Type:
    Core

    Result:
    Potentially dangerous object

    Action history:
It has nothing on that line, although I ALWAYS highlight this and click on "Removed Selected Infections, then highlight again and click Remove all unhealed infections

Then.....when that is done I click View Details again and it says Healed under the Result on the Detailed object information.

So whatttttttttttttttttttt is this? Its driving me batty! Also just so you know if it was capitalized I made it capitalized, if not I left it in lower case!

Also when looking thru the history....some of what shows up when I click the view details after I have removed selected infections and remove all unhealed infections, some say moved to virus vault, some say healed and some say deleted.

Also I am a member of MySpace and there are times when I open a message, or someones page, the AVG pops up that it has blocked something. I would like to know if I should quit going to MySpace all together, but honestly only use it to message my children and friends, and to see pictures of my Grandbaby and such!

Thanks for any and all help you can give me!

    Sincerely,
    Terri
