I'm trying to install a usb->phone adapter, when I plugged it in it prompted me to install but I clicked cancel. Now I can't install it & can't find it in add new hardware. How can I install it now?

Well you could try unplugging it and replugging it and it should prompt you with a new New Hardware detected windows.
If not then restart your computer and still it should prompt you again.
If not also then check the Device Manager
Which can be found in the My Computer properties windwos.
And look for any entry with a yellow ! or a Red X.

Try plugging it into a different USB hub. If you plugged it into the front, plug it into the back.
