Framework + Service pack failed

Hello, i recently had a lot of issues with my laptop and had it restored to factory settings, but there seem to be a lot of problems. I have tried to install the Service pack 1 and get an error, saying installation unsuccessful and i also tried to download microsoft.net framework 4 and 5+ (not quite sure which ones)
The error i got from the service pack was something along this line:

INSTALLATION FAILURE ERROR_ACCESS_DENIED (0X80070005

Anyway, this is the error log i got from trying to install the framework :

I have also found another program that doesn't work... Skype. I get an error saying "Skype can't connect, (link)Get help fixing this problem(link) and once clicked it just says check i'm on the internet (clearly am) and turn skype off and back on, which I have done.

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks for reading :)

Before you do any updates, you need to get SP1 installed.
Did you download it from here?

Support for Windows 7 without a SP ended on April 9, 2013 so Windows Update, I suspect, will tell you there are no updates.

When you are ready to install, disable your security programs and remove the computer from the internet (if wired, pull the ethernet cable; if wireless turn off the wifi on the computer).
