I've seen a web site called 'PC Bug Doctor' where they say that they will scan your pc for any faults or bugs on your system with a free download. Has anyone used this site if so how was it. Was it a safe site or should I avoid?

    Avoid it.

It will probably fine an "amazing" number of "issues" and then want you to buy the program to "fix" them. But they are often an inflated account of the real situation.

The same result can be achieved with programs like AdAware, Spybot etc that are all free.

What are your problems that you feel you need this?

Try PC Pitstop. You can run a free diagnostics scan of your PC there, and rather than offer to "fix" your problems, they offer suggestions and tips on how to do it. I first used it after a recommendation on this site, and I've used it several times since. I find it pretty useful in minor performance boosts and fixes.
