I'm looking for a free, or cheap, replacement for MS Windows. I know there are lots of operating systems, but I would like one that is considered Windows compatiable.

I mean, an OS that I could run with a nice GUI, or skinable GUI, that I could use my PC games, Paint Shop Pro, etc.

    Thanks

Uh...so you want something that is just like Windows, but not Windows? Well...if you want to run Windows apps, you'd be best off sticking to Windows. What's so bad about Windows, anyhow? =P

There's Linux, of course, and you might be able to run at least some of your Windows programs, but they probably won't run the way they did in Windows. You could always use Gimp instead of PSP, etc, but...
