I've downloaded your image but can't promise anything or when I will see what I can do with it. Hope you understand.

I did a little bit of work on that image you posted. I opened the image in irfanview > Image > Custom/Fine Rotation > 0.25. I then cropped it out of the book. This is the result....... Close but no cigar :(! But it does show what the possibilities are. :) Good luck. Possibility you won't need Adobe. GIMP and Irfanview just might be up to the challenge.

I love Irfanview. Even though I have Photoshop I still use Irfanview constantly.

Thank you so much for your help, and the detailed description of how you did it. That gives me some ideas. It might take me awhile to do it, but at least it looks like it might be possible with what I currently have to work with. I really appreciate it!

    You're welcome.

Maybe there is someone here at TSG besides me that would like to take a crack at it.

    I took a look.
What I see is not so much an image that's out of square, but one that's skewed. A slight distortion.
In Irfanview, open the image and flip on the vertical ( 'v' key). It becomes obvious. Slight, but just enough that unless the distortion is addressed, nothing will perfectly align.

The trick is undoing the distortion. I have nothing to offer.

I have also noticed other imperfections in the original image. There are a couple of small areas where there should be color and there isn't.

I'm thinking there is no Automatic tool ..
And nothing better than Gimp/Photoshop and Irfanview ... And a lot of work.
How much detail/merging .... Depends on what you really need to put on the clothes.
I've been watching and thinking .... Great Job 2Twenty2

I am also using Adobe Photoshop for this purpose. Can you provide details and ideas about your work?

I think we're abut done here .. I think you can pickup the details earlier in this thread.

For those of you who are using Photoshop and Irfanview …
Do you want to know how to select (one or more) photos (any Image type) ...
and open them in Photoshop in two Clicks ?
    Requires editing the Irfanview Registry
